Green Strawberry – Dâu Xanh

Green Strawberry has many small segments, succulent, with seeds.

Green Strawberry has a perennial woody plant, up to 25m tall, 30-35cm in diameter. Leaves simple, medium-lanceolate, lance-shaped Flowers white or yellow, stem or large. The fruits are pods in long clusters, the pods are green, turning green-brown when ripe.

Green Strawberry is known in the South of Vietnam as a fruit that grows in clusters, sometimes as green as a bunch of grapes, but with a thicker skin. When ripe, it turns yellow or red. Eaten like a longan, with seeds and sweet or sour. Many people confuse this fruit with bon bon, but it’s really two different types
